Observed: User can reach step 4 without selecting an image; Generate appears active but silently no-ops when no image is present.

Acceptance criteria:

  • Steps 2-4 gated by required preconditions
  • Generate disabled until image exists
  • Snackbar/error message if generate is triggered without image
